ACB Dominion Center Food Bank

Maryland is one of the richest states in America. But more than 600,000 people in the state are “food insecure” (they do not have enough to eat), and 33% of them do not qualify for food assistance, so they are dependent on the Maryland Food Bank and other food relief agencies for help. Action Chapel Baltimore Dominion Center is joining the fight to eliminate food insecurity in our state. For our 2018 anniversary project, we are taking steps to become a network partner with the Maryland Food Bank so we can start up a food distribution center for our community. Some actions we will take include – creating an enclosed space that will serve as the distribution center, purchasing shelves, refrigerators and freezers, and establishing a mode of communication with the community to ensure that we can reach all who need a helping hand. Your donations to this GoFundMe account will be used for this purpose. Our 2018 church anniversary ends on 12 August 2018. We would like the majority of funds to be received before this date.
