Let's help our young athletes; we are fundraising for multi-event athletes in the British Virgin Islands. Former Decathlete Paul On The Ball Hewlett is training these athletes. The youngsters have been doing very well and have now begun their Winter training.
Supporting the Academy of Sports Foundation will ensure that the two most essential pieces of equipment required for their progression is available. Funds will be used to purchase
- Pole Vault Equipments - Vault Pit, four poles, 2 bars
- Hurdling Equipment - 14 hurdles, four starter blocks
- Supplementation and refreshments during training sessions - monthly supply of multivitamins for the athletes, hydrating fluids during training
- Transportation, education and clothing - fuel expense to transport the athletes to and from training locations. Educational material (Books, Training Diaries, Videos)
We want to ensure that these and future athletes are able to attain their full potential. We will do this through an holistic approach that caters to their social, physical and mental development. We want to ensure that our athletes understand the biology of their body and the science of their physical developmet - this way they can train to their full potential and achieve maximum results.
