I am trying to raise money for a cause that has no funding. The Academy of Hard Knocks is run by my good friend Sam Rowe who himself has been in prison time after time. He has since changed his life for the better & he wants to do the same with the youth of today by getting them off the streets, giving them values & selfworth. The Academy of Hard Knocks seems to change & deter youths from offending by teaching discipline, self awareness, not using weapons as a way of protection or using weapons for violence. It teaches and changes their mindset. Takes them down a different path lessons anxiety & depression. Instead of following a viscous cycle of re offending time after time. Showing them all a different picture and how life can be instead of the cycle they are in.. The youths do a 12 week programme including martial arts, nutrition and gym activities plus alot more by keeping them motivated and off the streets. It teaches them confidence. Its somewhere for them to go and teaches them something worth while.
