Send Annie to Europe!

Hello friends, family, and everyone in between! As many of you may know, I decided upon my acceptance to LSU that I would devote the next four years to making my educational experience one for the books--no pun intended! I entered into my freshman year and dove fully into some of the most challenging academics LSU had to offer... the Honors College track of Pre-Med Biology. Without the support of everyone around me, however, I know I couldn't have made it past the first week, which is what brings me to the reasoning behind this page.


With growing competition for the requirements to enter into medical school, where my hopes are of being in three years, travel and cultural expansionism have become a new edge for medical school applications. Along with my pre-med requirements, the Honors College at LSU highly recommends that their students study abroad sophomore year, a time before school gets too overwhelmingly demanding. This is why I have decided to study abroad in Greece, Summer of 2015! Knowing that this would be quite an expense, I have decided to start asking for support now. I cannot be thankful enough for those of you who have supported me in my academic endeavors throughout the years to help me get to where I am today. So now, I ask you, as one final push for my success, to make any contribution you can to my trip. Every little bit counts. Donations can also be made anonymously. In the months I have between now and then, I will also be doing everything I possibly can to raise enough funds to make this dream a reality. Please, be a part of this journey with me.
