Quartermaster/ Eagle Picnic Benches

I am working on the Quartermaster Award, which is the Sea Scouting, Boy Scouts of America equivalent of Eagle Scout. Being the equivalent of Eagle it requires me to complete an eagle project. I have chosen to build 8 large picnic benches for a tent camping area at Community of the Great Comission, a Disciples of Christ owned camp, conference and retreat center. Each bench will cost around 200 dollars for lumber and fastening hardware. Upon completion of this project I will have completed all requirements for my Quartermaster Award and will be awarded the highest rank in Sea Scouting at the Regional Bridge and Ball on July 26 on the USS Iowa.
