On behalf of Trent (Rebekah) and Andrea Robertson:
Just before Thanksgiving 13 y/o AC Robertson was diagnosed with stage 4 T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. It was discovered that AC's chest had tumors causing fluid to accumulate around his heart and lungs requiring a chest tube and an ICU stay. After spending 10 days in ICU & Oncology at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis he bounced back due to prayers and stellar medical care. He is now well into his first round of chemotherapy with many more rounds to come.
AC is an 8th grader at Western Middle School in Russiaville, Indiana. He is a good student who loves animals, runs cross country, loves Xbox, has great friends, and plays on the soccer team. He is well loved by his parents, Andrea Robertson, and Trent & Rebekah Robertson, and his siblings, Cambell, Korey, Keegan, & Kyndell... and Buddy the dog.
While the side effects of chemotherapy are devastating and gut wrenching to witness, all remain positive and trusting of God and AC's medical providers. AC has been very compliant and doesn't complain much. Even when he feels weak AC's inner strength is inspiring.
Chemotherapies are expected to last into well into 2020 and care will continue into 2021 and beyond. The Robertsons are blessed with decent insurance coverage, however, out of pocket expenses are high. This page has been created to assist with uncovered medical expenses to help free the family up to cover other costs.
Besides contributing to this campaign, other ways you can help are:
1) Spread the word about Robertsons Recovery Team Efforts
2) Share this campaign on social media
3) Prayers & encouraging words
AC's family is coming together and praising God for his progress so far with the cancer and are humbled by the outpouring of prayers and support.
Let's lift this family up the best way we can!
