Julissa's story has only been heard in a few places.
On Sept 9th 2012 my daughter Julissa Marie Sosa was Diagnosed with Pre B -ALL Leukemia. She had several blood transfusions, she has had a blood infection & several spinal taps.

On September 4th of 2012 Julissa had some mouth sores that started to grow
Inside her mouth.she was in very much pain she couldn't eat & she couldn't drink anything. On Sept 7th she had this awful pain in her legs that didnt allow her to walk, or sleep. On Sept 8th i was getting off of work and was waiting for my Fiance to pick me up and when he arrived at my job he gives me this serious look and says" julie has bruises around her face " he told me " now before you start accuseing anyone i dont not know what happen, she was asleep before i came to pick you up. She needs to see a Dr. ASAP" I didnt have any thoughts going thru my mind, my mind was blank. i was thinking the worst a mother would think if she saw bruising along her 4yr daughters face. i was stuck for a few mins just thinking what happened? I decided to rush her to the hospital in Wauchula Fl which is the only hospital in Hardee County and I was trying to explain what was going on with her soars, & her leg pain i mention the bruising along her face and they asked her what happen she replies "Nothing" her sister hit her.. I didnt buy it i swear i didnt. The Drs. Did so they were sending us home with some antibiotics! I told the Dr. "excuse me Sr. my daughter has not been feeling good for a whole week she has mouth soars in her mouth, she cant walk she's crying in pain" he turned and looked at me and said its growing pains? Really?! I was so angry i picked up my baby to leave and her pants went up her leg and i saw these tiny red dots all over her legs. I turned to the Dr. and said " Am Not Leave With Out A Second Opinion!" My baby is sick look at her!!!! Help Her please!! When i showed him her tiny red dots on her legs he drop everything and ordered a hemoglobin and platelets check...he finally came back with her results and said" ma"am were are sending you as a emergency to The All Childrens Hospital in St Pwte, her blood levels are so low she has no blood and these tiny dots are blood vessels bursting inside her body causing bruising ( This explained the brusing on her face). When were arrived in St.Pete they took us to the 7th floor at the blood disorder and cancer Center......At this moment am cold don't know what to think or do.. I ask myself how??? Why are we here??
They run test on her the hole day on Sept 9th 2012 they diagnosed her with stage 1 Pre B All Leukemia
Since that day our lives change for ever my baby had Cancer! Out of 1 & A Million she was that 1.. Since then she has been attending her chemo appts every month.. She has spinal taps every 3 months..
As of right now no Leukemia Cells have came back but she will be on chemotherapy for the next year & a half
She is now attending daycare living her life like the Julie i know..Shes full of life! Laughter left and right! She has 2 sisters and 1 brother, me, my fiance (there step father) that is helping her day by day.. To be stronger for the better Because there will be no worst!!
