<div><em>En octubre de 2024 me diagnosticaron cáncer de mama en etapa II, un diagnóstico que cambió mi vida para siempre. He pasado por un camino muy difícil, con 16 sesiones de quimioterapia que ya he completado, y ahora me preparo para una mastectomía radical bilateral, cirugía que mi seguro médico, gracias a la red médica de la Universidad de Guanajuato, cubrirá.</em>

<div><em>Estoy muy agradecida por el apoyo recibido, pero quiero compartir una realidad que muchas mujeres enfrentamos y que es poco conocida: la reconstrucción mamaria posterior a una mastectomía no está cubierta por mi seguro ni por muchos otros, porque se considera un procedimiento “estético”.</em>

<div><em>Sin embargo, esta cirugía NO es un lujo ni un capricho, sino una necesidad médica fundamental para recuperar no solo mi cuerpo, sino también mi identidad, autoestima y bienestar emocional. La mastectomía implica la pérdida de una parte esencial de nuestro cuerpo, y la reconstrucción mamaria forma parte integral del tratamiento del cáncer de mama, tal como lo reconocen la Organización Mundial de la Salud y numerosas instituciones médicas.</em>

<div><em>Además, la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación en México ha establecido que negar esta cirugía es una violación a los derechos humanos de las mujeres, afectando su salud, dignidad e igualdad. La reconstrucción mamaria no es estética, es una intervención para sanar el cuerpo y el alma después de un proceso doloroso y traumático.</em>

<div><em>El cáncer y sus tratamientos son una batalla dura, no solo para mí sino para toda mi familia. Por eso he abierto esta página para pedir tu apoyo en esta etapa de mi tratamiento, que no está cubierta por el seguro y es vital para mi recuperación completa.</em>
