Autism Service Dog For Luceas

Thank you for visiting our page!  We are raising money to purchase an Autism Service dog for our son, Luceas.  He is almost 5 years old and is a complete joy to our family, but some days we fear for his safety and worry that he does not feel connected to anyone in our household.  He is mostly non-verbal and what little communication he is capable of is understood mostly by immediate family.  Luceas is very outgoing and loving and that is a blessing when dealing with autism, but it sometimes puts him in a vulnerable position.  He is very trusting and does not seem to register danger, even in it\'s most evident forms.  Our sincerest hope is that this dog will be a help to us in protecting Luceas and also provide him with a friend that does not require verbal communication to connect.  You can find out more on our facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/pages/A-Boy-and-His-Dog/269002016462125 and also see our event page at: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=245841728788526
