Help ABLE Foundation raise funds for STEM education at Glenridge Middle School
ABLE Foundation is a (503)c non-profit dedicated to providing access for children on the Autism Spectrum to STEM education, with the ultimate goal of inspiring a new generation of scientists and engineers.
It has come to our attention that the Robotics Department at Glenridge Middle School is in need of 30 Lego Mindstorm robot kits for its fall 2017 curriculum. Each kit retails for $400, which makes it difficult to have enough supplies for an entire classroom.
Glenridge is an IB school which serves a considerable population of students with Autism. A well-stocked Robotics classroom will benefit all students, with and without disabilities. It will enable students with Autism to learn alongside their peers and improve their social skills, while giving all students an opportunity to bond over shared interests.
100% of your donation is destined to the purchase of the Lego Mindstorm kits. ABLE Foundation will cover any administrative fees from this fundraising campaign.
