Until recently, we operated a very successful clinic treating people with neurological conditions which have led to paralysis. Unfortunately for our clients and trainers the parent company that owned our facility has gone into liquidation leading to our equipment being ceased, our doors being closed and our clients casted out.
Scrambling to action, it is with great pleasure to announce that after just 1 week of being shut down, we will be opening the doors to our new clinic ‘The Abilities Recovery Center’ (ARC). The dedication of our clients has been tremendous. They have booked our schedules full for weeks, even though we don’t have any of the equipment they have been accustomed to using. Our clients have even agreed to do their therapies on the floor just in order to get back into their recovery program.
We are dipping into our own resources to acquire the necessary pieces of rehabilitation equipment to serve the needs of the clients. We are seeking any help in funding for the purchase of this vital equipment for their therapy.
The Abilities Recovery Center, located in Los Angeles, California, is a specialised clinic for clients with neurological conditions. ARC is committed to providing personalised and effective exercise based therapy to help clients reach their full recovery potential, whilst achieving optimal health and wellness.

My 75-year-old father was diagnosed with a rare spinal cord infection in late 2016 and we were told that he would never walk again. Not willing to accept this we started our journey to find a rehabilitation facility and were fortunate to find ARC. That’s when everything changed. During the initial evaluation, the trainers tested Dads abilities and challenged him to try things that other physical therapist didn’t want to try or felt he couldn’t do. He left the gym with the biggest smile on his face, it was priceless. We have attended their customized program for a few months now and have seen progress every single week. In last week session, Jeff challenged my dad to try to take a few steps and by the end of the session Dad was up to 16 steps with a walker. I couldn’t believe it. What I love about this team is they think outside of the box. They look at his progress and needs then make adjustments to help achieve his goals.
