Abigail's First Half Marathon for Sense

On June 1st of 2020 I couldn't run for more than 60 seconds without having to walk to recover, now just a few months later I'm ready to embark on a huge challenge and train for my (first!) half marathon. I am so excited to participate in Hampton Court Half Marathon, after watching my mum and family friends complete it last year I am determined to give this fun run (with such lovely historical settings) a go!

I wouldn't be doing this if not for a worthy cause. Sense is a fantastic charity that aims to help those who are blinddeaf/ have complex disabilities.  As I'm sure you can imagine the events of the last year have been even more challenging for those who require support and people around them to communicate and connect with the world. Sense continues to do brilliant work to support these induviduals and their families at this time.
