Abigail Hope's Brain Surgery

This Go Fund Me is to raise enough money for James ( Abi's Dad) to have some time off work while Abi is recovering from major brain surgery.
As most of you know the sweetest Abigail Hope is about to go through one of the most extensive surgeries this Thursday (6th Sept). Abi Is 3 years old and about 18 months ago was diagnosed with a disorder called Hemimegalencephaly (HME).
HME is a rare neurological condition in which one-half of the brain, is abnormally larger than the other. The structure of the brain on the affected side is abnormal and as a result of this size and the structural differences, the enlarged brain tissue causes frequent seizures, often associated with cognitive or behavioral disabilities or delays. The surgery is 6-8 hours where the surgeon will seek to sever the two hemispheres of the brain and remove part of the enlarged tissue.
Abi is a treasured gift to anyone who meets her, her story was always going to be different from what was expected, but the beauty and joy that comes from her life thus far is like none other. She is truly fearfully and wonderfully made. I speak on behalf of James, Sarah and all the Mayers family when I say they are fully grounded in the HOPE of Jesus. The thought of Abi enduring this level of surgery is scary of course, but we believe in a God of miracles, and James and Sarah feel surrounded with friends and family who are all deeply committed to supporting them through this time.
As many of you have asked "what do you guys need" I thought I would share some of the more specific needs during the surgery time on the 6th of September and the recovery period.
My hope is that we could raise enough money for James to take some time off work whilst Abi is in recovery, she will most likely be in hospital for a large chunk of this time and recovery can be hard and slow. Abi will need to relearn most things. In order to keep life as stable as possible for Sophie and Emma the eldest siblings, to ensure James gets some good time each day at the hospital with Sarah and that they both have the time they need I would love to raise $4000 for them.
This will go towards usual income, food, bills and all the extra costs that this time may present. We also need people to sign up for a meal train to help with eating the 6 weeks!
SO IN SUMMARY- we need $4000, lots of dinners, lots of prayer, gifts and love in every shape and size for sweet Abi, her wonderful parents and her gorgeous siblings!!!
