<div>Hello everyone! this is Abi and Gem’s charity fundraiser. To raise money, we are going to be doing a challenge called the 12 dips of Christmas. To complete this challenge, we will be having a dip in cold water 12 times throughout December. Ways we will do this include dipping in our local sea or lakes, having Ice baths/ cold showers and also getting our friends to pour an ice bucket over us. We will be filming every step of the way.

<div>We are going to be raising money for 2 charities in total. The first charity will be for the Ronald McDonald house charity. Ronald McDonald houses are free temporary homes for families with a child being treated in hospital. They provide families a comfortable place to stay, eat and rest close to their child. This charity is close to Gem’s heart as they really looked after herself and her daughter Mia.
</div>
<div>This charity relies solely on volunteers, donors and donations. Therefore raising money to donate to this cause will make a real difference, helping more families be close to their sick children in hospital each year.

<div>the second charity is cancer research. This is a very popular charity as it is dedicated to saving lives. Most people know someone, whether personally or not, who has either had a cancer scare, has been diagnosed with it or has sadly passed away. However, this research is constantly finding ways to find new cures and is committed to bettering the chances of receiving early diagnoses so that treatment is more likely to be successful. Both charities are inevitably connected as there are also many children and young people who are diagnosed with cancer, who’s families want to be close to them when receiving treatment.

<div>We would both really appreciate donations to our fundraiser! At the end of the month, we are going to split the money fairly so half and half goes to the 2 charities we have chosen❤️✨
