Dear friend, colleges companeras y companeros
I'm raising money to go to school for a year my version of writing boot camp, After many years of work around immigration, work that I miss every day and i'm not stopping working on them im doing some project on my free time and still very engage in the issues of immigration.
Do to migrations, neglect of poor communities and lack of interest I never learn how to write well, i am all passion no skill have the ability to write of a 10 year old ( a very smart and passionate 10 year old)
And for the last 9 week I spend the little saving i have and decide to take some classes and it has being very hard and helpful deeply inside i wish that writing was a skill i could just take a few workshops a year and get it down with but is much more hard then just a class and I try to be patient. School has never being easy for me i am a rebel at heart and at worst it feels like a waste of time because I could/should be doing so much more and at best i know i can't continue to work without being able to communicate effectively by writing ( not in the way i want we need)
Perhaps School is not cheap and since the saving are almost dried out im raising money to go for a year I don't want a career i don’t need it i have the best career as an organizer i need to learn the skill of writing well and appropriate
Throughout my entire life being able to be passionate and successful in my own way thanks to the endless love and support of many people and I cannot see myself being able to go to school without your love and $ support
$ that would pay for books/classes/ meals/
PS: your financial support would be a great kick start to the Writing boot camp since i am applying to as many scholarship for DACA/undocumented folk but and most of them come thought during the fall
