Hello everyone,
My beloved dad died in May last year after battling cancer for three years. Throughout his struggle, he displayed remarkable strength, and his resilience continues to inspire me and my family to live life to the fullest.
He was selfless, generous, humorous, and had a heart full of love.
As we enter ramadan, I want to build a water well in his memory as a sadaqah jariyah for his soul. I am raising funds to build a water well in an area where clean water is scarce. The funds will be donated to Nouvelle Optique, and once the well is completed, I will share a photo of it.
The gift of water saves lives; Allah says in the Qur'an "And whoever saves one (a life)- it is as if he had saved all mankind". (Qur'an, 5:32).
