Paws for a Princess - Service K9 Needed

Help us change the life of a local Fletcher area youth. Abby Link has been a member of the Fletcher community since she was 5 years old. Abby was diagnosed as having a Global Developmental Delay at age 2. Just a short year later she was diagnosed with ADHD and exhibits concerns with impulsivity, focus and hyperactivity. In 2016 Abby was diagnosed with generalized anxiety. Through it all Abby has remained a super trooper tackling obstacles along the way. On September 18, 2020 eleven year old Abby once again received yet another diagnosis. Abby was diagnosed with a life threatening disease in the form of Epilepsy.

This fundraiser is being held in the hopes of raising enough money to get Abby an Epilepsy specific service dog. The specially trained dog will be able to detect the onset of epileptic seizures, notify Abby and adults nearby that one is imminent, and even help protect Abby if one occurs by using it’s own body to try and cushion her from harm during the seizure. This dog could save her life, over and over again. Additionally the dog will serve as a full time companion animal to help Abby tackle her anxiety and social interaction challenges.
