Abbie LeBlanc is a sweet and spunky grade 2 student from Upper Thames Elementary School in Mitchell, Ontario. The summer before Abbie entered senior kindergarten, she was diagnosed with leukemia. Two years later, she rang the gong of remission and was granted her Make-A-Wish to Disney World. Recently, the LeBlanc family received devastating news that the cancer has returned. Born with Down Syndrome, Abbie's treatment plan is more complicated. The family, along with the doctor's direction, is seeking a new treatment called CAR-T. With this treatment, there will be travel back and forth to Toronto, with the possibility of going to Philadelphia. Abbie and her family continue to stay strong and positive throughout this upcoming treatment process. Any support to help cover the costs of transportation, housing, parking, meals, etc. will be greatly appreciated.
