Elderly Abandoned Cat Needs Surgery

We recently rescued a 12 year old cat who was put out on the street at 1 year of age because the owners new boyfriend didn't like cats. He has survived on his own and also from the generosity of neighbors feeding him. I found him in horrible condition 1 week ago. This poor boy has gone through so much and is still so sweet and loving. The initial vet visit has occurred and he will need dental work and x rays. He also needs medicine and an ophthalmologist appointment. We have a skilled cat person to foster but don't want to burden her with bills. Please help if you can.
