Hey everyone, I’m Sarah and the girl you see in the photos above is my Best Friend since we were in school, a girl who has shown me what true strength and determination is, a girl who has been through hell and back but has managed to always have a smile on her face. My heart is heavy writing this because even though we joke about it I hate to see her go through this but I do know I want to make her dreams come true. Let me tell you about Lisa ❤️
In 2007 she was a crazy, bubbly, happy and healthy teenager until she got devastating news. She was in 5th year in secondary school and 17 when she got diagnosed with bone cancer in her knee, she underwent chemo, lost all her hair but still had a smile on her face through it all, but in the end to completely clear the cancer she had to get her leg amputated from above the knee. Learning to walk with only one leg and deal with the emotional affects that came with it are indescribable but yet she still had a huge smile through it all and went back to repeat 5th year to try get back to a normal life but not for long because in 2008 just as she had got over the affects the knee cancer had left she was diagnosed with cancer in her left lung, 18 years of age, only hitting adulthood and her hair only growing back she had to start all over again with chemo and surgery nd the physical and mental affects..... but she completed her secondary school education!!! How amazing is she! ❤️ Finally after completing chemo for her left lung the cancer went to the right lung at the age of 19 in 2009, another surgery but she still had a beautiful smile on her face ❤️
She beat cancer 3 times before the age of 20!!!
8 years clear, 8 years of planning a future, 8 years of living life the way she should of lived it through her teens, 8 years of thinking this nightmare was over but unfortunately in July 2017 at the age of 27 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and liver cancer. She underwent more chemo and is doing well so far. She deserves everything and more. If I could give her my health I would, but the only thing I can give her is a chance to achieve her dreams.
This go fund me page is to raise money to send her to a Pink concert or Africa on a safari or to bungee jump off a cliff. These are her only wishes and I can’t do this without help, so I’m begging you, anyone that can donate even €1.00 toward this goal would mean the world to her! I just want to see her in Africa with a smile on her face and no that she made it ❤️
