I want to tell you about my beautiful wonderful daughter Ashley Scarantino. She is a 24 year old women who is going to school to be an ultrasound tech and working part time. A women who is starting out her life in this world. Four weeks ago she received devistating news that she has breast cancer. How can a 24 year old get breast cancer! This is the worst news a young women can hear. It's the worst news a mother and father can hear. Over the last few weeks she had to deal w/surgeries to check to see if cancer hit her nodes and a procedure to have a port implanted so she can receive her chemo. She will be going through 5 months of chemo, followed by a lumpectomy, then radiation. Her doctor recommended to not work as her waitressing job would be too dangerous since she would be dealing with the public and during her chemo she can not afford to get sick. With all this, her bills are beginning to mount. The constant appointments, deductables, co-pays, gas, tolls, parking, xrays, etc. I am not able to help my daugher financially and this devistates me. I don't even like to ask for help, but this time I need to ask. Would you find it in your heart to help us? Any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated.
