Aaron Steveson MDS Cancer Battle

Donation protected
Former NCPD Officer and Transportation Security Inspector, Aaron Steveson previously fought and beat a rare form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.  He is now fighting Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) which is cancer that attacks bone marrow. This cancer has no cure without a bone marrow transplant.

UPDATE: Aaron just received notice that he has a bone marrow donor!  On March 14th, he's going to City of Hope in Duarte, CA for 2 months of hospitalization.

After receiving the transplant, the doctors told him he will be off work one year.  He will receive no pay while off work unless sick leave is donated.  Aaron also must pay monthly for health care and copayments for chemotherapy, the bone marrow transplant, and an extensive hospital stay. He can NOT receive disability income.
How can you help?
1) Federal government employees can donate leave on the Volunteer Leave Transfer Program (VLTP) (see site below).
2) Donate to this GoFundMe to help Aaron financially support his family while he's off work, fighting MDS. Donations are going into Aaron's savings account.
3) Spread the news by sharing this.
4) Pray for Aaron and his wife, Laura.
