Aaron Cook’s ExoSym Brace

In April of 2017, my brother, Aaron had a very serious accident while hiking in Yosemite. He suffered a severe, rare type of break of his left ankle.

This is a life-altering injury, and is one of the worst types of breaks in the lower extremities.

About three months after the accident and multiple surgeries, Aaron slowly started walking again and now, 18 months later, he is still only walking. We thank God for that and are grateful, but Aaron is still in a lot of pain on a daily basis and has has lost the ability to perform any dynamic movement.

Their insurance does not cover this device so it will be 100% cash pay and will also require a week’s stay to be fitted and receive training on how to use the brace.
