Aaron & Sundy Wood lost their home in Oregon Fire

As many of you know the fires in Southern Oregon are destroying homes and leaving many with just the clothes on their back and a few small possessions. This is exactly the case for my cousins Aaron and Sundy Wood in Medford, Oregon.
Tragically, Aaron and Sundy’s home for the past 16 years was completely destroyed on Tuesday September 8, 2020 in the Almeda Fire in Jackson County, Oregon. They only had moments to evacuate themselves and help several of their neighbors who did not have transportation to safety. They have unfortunately lost everything.
As you can imagine, they are overwhelmed right now with the thought of “What’s next? Where do we go? What do we do?” and we would love to help take some of that burden off their shoulders!
If you know Aaron and Sundy you know they are always willing to lend a helping hand. They are devout Christians and have devoted their lives to serving the Lord. It’s our time to show them that same love and support. This is a direct quote from Aaron’s Facebook page:
“Thank you so very much for all the prayers and people thinking about our family in our time of need. At this time we are still trying to process all of this. So please don't think we are ignoring anybody. At this time we don't know what we need or where we go from here. Sundy Wood and I are so used to helping others we don't know how to process the love from everyone that has sent caring messages to our family. We Love everyone of you.”
Please consider making a donation of any amount. These donations will go towards helping them secure housing, food, clothing or anything they need to get some sort of normalcy back to their lives. While we know that no amount of money will bring back the many irreplaceable pictures, family heirlooms or family pets that were lost in the fire, it will help them put their lives back together and move forward.
