Richard Elkins to Run Savannah Marathon!

On November 8, 2014, I will be running the Savannah Rock 'N Roll Marathon to raise money for Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The Foundation was launched in 2005 by Chris and Robin Sorensen (co-founders of Firehouse Subs) to support emergency service entities and public safety organizations with tools needed to protect their communities. These tools may include safety-prevention education, thermal imaging cameras, extrication tools, bunker gear, K-9 units, automated external defibrillators, bullet-proof vests, ATV's with rescue capabilities, and the list goes on.

Police, fire, and rescue departments across the country submit specific grant requests to the Foundation Board, which meets quarterly, to decide which grants to fund, based on current donations. Since it's inception in 2005, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated over $10M. With your help, the Foundation can continue to fund communities you live in with much needed equipment. Big or small, every dollar counts, please consider supporting the Foundation today.
