Ongoing medical care and home maintenanc

I wouldn't normally do something like this, as I have always wanted to be able to do everything myself. Unfortunately the past year has taken a toll on mine and my 7 year olds life. My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in September 2013...this disease is extremely expensive and although my work provides health insurance, the cost for his monthly supplies and bill from his hospital stay are expenses that were never planned for. In addition to this my father passed away in April, being his only child I have acquired his belongings...and his dept, a house that needs work and still has a mortgage. As my son and I are trying to move into the home because I cant afford a mortgage and my current rent, there are things that have come up in the home that need to be done before that happens. I work full time as a nurse and am trying my best to keep my head above water. Any amount of help, no matter how small would be appreciated more then you will ever know :)
