AALDC Community Resources Fund

As a result of the  COVID-19/Coronavirus Pandemic, the Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation (AALDC) has recognized the need for community assistance on a larger scale, to fight against the current circumstances thrust upon us.

The AALDC has developed the AALDC Community Resources Fund in Brooklyn, NY to directly aid in the support of affected local businesses, many of which have been on historic Atlantic Avenue and surrounding areas for more than 45 years. All of these merchants, both new and old, fully contribute to the cultural richness and diversity of the Avenue, and continuously improve the public altogether.

The AALDC Community Resources Fund will provide relief to the small businesses on Atlantic Avenue, between Fourth Avenue and Hicks Street. Many have been forced to close and are facing severe financial hardship due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus Pandemic. We will come together as a group to re-build in the face of adversity.

As a whole, the Atlantic Avenue area brings together people of all backgrounds and ethnicity to enjoy food, music, shopping, and all of the cultural heritage our community has to offer. We as a neighborhood have the chance to lift each other up, and it is up to us to help preserve our history and advocate for each other!

Join us in making a difference today!
