Filmmakers Jason Barbeck and Rafael Kalamat of The Canadian International Faith and Family Film Festival and CIFFLIX will embark on a monument historic journey to document Stan and his run over the course of 100 days. This run and film will touch millions of lives and bring people closer together in these troubled times.

Stan Cottrell, who will celebrate his 77th birthday on the road on May 7th, has been running all his life, ever since he had to run all the way to school at just 6 years old. And in his lifetime has clocked up over 250,000 miles.
Think about it – that’s like 10 times round the world.! He has run across 40 countries, including China and Vietnam, and across the USA twice before, bringing his message of love, harmony and friendship to millions of people.
Stan’s runs build bridges and give hope and inspiration to millions. He actually holds the record for the fastest run across the USA at just 48 days. 1980 - 3,103.5 mile run from New York to San Francisco - 48 days, setting a new Guinness World Record and was nominated for the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize.
On April 15, 2020 he will run from Los Angeles California to Washington D.C. in 100 days. That is 30 miles a day. Equivalent to 100 marathons. He has don it before, and he will do it again!
