STAND BY BILLY'S FAMILY

I am starting this campaign with an immeasurable amount of sadness. On July 8th our good friend Angela returned home to find her beloved Billy unable to speak and unable to recognize her. She immediately called 911, and they were brought to Salem hospital. They were only there about 30 min before they were rushed into a Boston Hospital. That is where the unthinkable happened. Angela was told that Billy had heart valve failure which led to two strokes and organ failure. She was given the toughest choice any woman, mother, or human being could make. Angela had to decide if she would let him go, or get him heart surgery with only a 15% survival rate. This unbelievably strong young woman made the incredible choice to save him . If all of this wasn't difficult enough Angela is 28 weeks pregnant and she and Billy are already parents to a beautiful little girl named Alicea who will be 3 years old on October 1st. Coincidentally, that is right around the time that Baby Joseph William Langlois (who is named after his daddy) will make his entrance into the world! These 3 people are Billy's whole entire world! Anyone who knows him already knows about his unbreakable bond with Alicea who is daddy's little girl, and like any man Billy was excited beyond words about the upcoming birth of his son. This is supposed to be a happy time for this family. Especially for Angela, we should celebrating her, and the gift of life. Sadly that's not the case. At this moment Billy is slowly recovering, but making progress. He is still asleep, and unable to breathe on his own because of the strokes and swelling on his brain. It's very touch and go right now, and what his condition will be when he wakes up is unknown. Due to the severe trauma his brain (& body) has gone through he will unfortunately be handicapped but to what level the doctors don't know at this point. I personally can't imagine going through so much sadness and having to keep it together at the same time. I want to support Angela in anyway that I can, and I'm sure you do too. Right now she is faced with providing for her daughter, and also for a newborn. Unfortunately she cannot afford her apartment on her own, and she isn't having a baby shower due to the circumstances. Billy was primarily the caretaker for his family. I know that he would want to make sure that they were OK. If you could find it in your hearts to donate I can guarantee you it would be greatly appreciated. Angela is such a selfless person, and she wouldn't even ask for help. This woman is trying so hard to hold it all together for her babies, and still she was reluctant to allow me to start this campaign. After many convincing messages she agreed. Anything you can give is going to be appreciated. Whether it's 5 dollars or 50 dollars. If u can't donate there's still a way to help, and that's by sharing the link. You can also keep this amazing family in your thoughts and prayers! Let's pray for a miracle! This is Billy's fight, and some of his biggest supporters are struggling. Let's help relieve some stress and allow her to focus on Billy's recovery! I will continue to update the page with Billy's progress. Let's stand by not only Billy but his family as well!
