Cancer sucks- help Larry fight back !!!

A few months ago, my dad began complaing of horrible throat pain and after a couple weeks of no relief, marched his way iinto the ER. To our surprise, he was diagnosed with heart failure, pre diabetes, and atrial fibrillation in the process. In order to treat the cardiac issues, once he was home, he was placed on blood thinners and 7 other medications that in his line of work, disabled him from working. Amidst all of the cardiac issues, his severe throat pain was pushed aside. After a couple months at home with no relief or interventions for his throat, he went to see a ENT (ear, nose, throat specialist) and once again recieved bad news. Just as doctors suspected...THE BIG C. The doc informed us that the cancer is now in his throat, lymph nodes, and tongue. Doc seems hopeful that with radiation, it can be cured and that is where this fundraiser comes in. My father was the only source of income and my brother and I are doing all that we can to help financially, but it will not be enough for the medical expenses to come. By doing this fundraiser, we hope to raise enough money for him and mom to keep medical insurance and to help pay co-pays for treatment. For just one week of radiation even with insurance, it will cost around $250 which seems impossible to fork up since dad is unable to work. Not working has put him and my mom at risk of losing their home and everything else they own or stand for. Mom and dad are the most caring, loving people anyone could ever know. They have helped so many people in so many ways and the least we can do is to pay it forward to them.
