First Recording Project

My name is Sarah Bassett and I've been singing for as long as I can talk. I have been given the opportunity to record my first full length album in January and need your help!
The Story:
September 19 a vocal hero of mine and artist I follow on social media, Jody McBrayer, posted this on Facebook:
"I'm excited to announce that myself, along with a Grammy Award winning production team are coming together to help YOU bring your gift to the surface by coming to Nashville, TN and recording a full-length recording project! We want to help be a small part in the BIG call of God on your life to reach people through music!"
**Cue mental note to submit something.
Monday, Oct 8 I frantically remembered what I had forgotten and straight-away posted videos and emailed the address listed. As I was turning over to go to sleep I told Matt it would be a success if I got confirmation they received my submission. Tuesday morning I got the shocking and thrilling news that I was chosen as 1 of the 10 artists to be invited to record in Nashville.
What Now:
Sometime in January [dates TBD] I will be flying to Nashville to start recording. This is a self funded project and I need all the help I can get to spread the word and raise the funds. As I get details I will continue to update this page as well as my Facebook and Instagram pages. The breakdown as I currently know it is -
*$12,000 for the album. This will cover studio musicians and production costs.
*$1,000 will cover travel, food, and lodging while in Nashville.
Final Thoughts:
I am beside myself with gratitude for this opportunity and for those who have believed in me and my journey. My goal is that this project will offer anyone who listens hope and encouragement. I want it to make a positive difference to you because you matter to me.
