A special bike for Alaina!

Donation protected
Our friends recently tried to win a special adaptive bike for their daughter, Alaina, who has a rare genetic syndrome. Many voted for Alaina, but unfortunately, she did not win the bike, which was so disappointing.  I would love to help Alaina get the bike  so she can experience the joy and confidence of riding a bike all by herself.  I know others would also love to help!

This is what her mom, Katie shared during the contest:
"Alaina has a rare genetic syndrome, she is 1 in 150 people in the whole world diagnosed with Macrocephaly Capillary Malformation (MCM). MCM means her head size is larger than most adults, she has severe developmental delays, low muscle tone, poor coordination and the list goes on. This fall she asked to "ride it" referring to her brothers bike. Her Dad set her on it and started pushing her while fully supporting her. She came alive, her face lite up and she said "I ride it, go faster, ready/set/go". She was so happy and proud even though she didn't have the strength or balance to push it or not be supported. If she got a bike that we could strap her in and she could gradually learn to ride, we feel it would make her happy and build her confidence so much. Plus we can't wait to re-live that moment and see the amazing smile and look in her face again. It was the thrill of a lifetime for us because of what it did for her!"

My goal is to raise $2500 so the Parker family can purchase the special adaptive bike  & custom helmet for Alaina! Please help!

Thanks so much!
