3rd Open Heart Surgery!

Hi, I am Jessica (Justin's sister!) I created this go fund me page for Justin in hopes of raising money for him! Let me tell you about my precious brother. He
began his life as a fighter when he was hospitalized at 3 months old for meningitis. Then at the age of 3 underwent his first open heart surgery at UNC Chapel Hill Children's hospital. Justin was born with congenital Subaortic Stenosis. I don't remember his surgery much as I am only 18 months older than him! However I have heard the sweet story all my life of how he was riding a tricyle up and down the halls of the hospital just a day or two after surgery! Coming home from the hospital life went back to as normal as possible. Then at age 9 we found out that He would have to endure another open heart surgery for Subaortic Stenosis with valvular insufficiency. This time was different we were both old enough to understand what was going to happen and the risks. My brother would lay on an operating table with his chest open, heart stopped and a ventilator breathing for him! Our mom did an amazing job preparing both of us just like she had done before. Telling us and showing us everything to expect. We drove to Chapel Hill the day before,I remember going to dinner with a lot of our family trying to be happy and ok but was really scared at the thought of what the next day would hold. My amazing brother was so brave and strong! Like I wrote in his senior ad page of his yearbook, He was my hero! Heading off to surgery I gave him my big Winnie the Pooh to hold. He was so sweet and kind with the things he said. Worrying about all of us instead of his self. He couldn't eat that day and would say you can eat Jessica I don't want you to be hungry! That dosnt even scratch the surface of my brothers unselfish, loving, giving heart! His whole life he puts others first, many many many times I have watched him stand up for kids being bullied, give his last dollar to the homeless, go to the rescue of friends and strangers, and countless things he did or said to me growing up. For example one time in Cracker Barrel with our Memaw he had money (I didn't, probably spent it on my self!) she let him go into the store to get him a toy while we finished eating. He came back with a beanie baby for me! He spent all of his money on something for me. Justin has always put others first and shown a rare love to all those around. Fast forward after the surgery; Praise God he was going to be ok! God so graciously and awesomely guided the surgeons hands and repaired Justin's heart! Here we are 18 years later and with a big scar down my sweet brothers chest, the drs saying his heart is broken and me seeing the most loving strong heart anyone could have he is facing yet another open heart surgery! Over the past 2 years he has had several trips to the er/dr for irregular heatbeat and just feeling as if something was off. He is scheduled to have a cardiac Cath in a few weeks and then his 3rd open heart surgery! We are so thankful to God for blessing Justin with the 18 healthy years in between his last surgery and now as many people with the same condition have had to have many more surgeries. Let me get to the reason why he needs your kindness and donations. This time is different, he is an adult! Although he has my parents and family like before but this time he is responsible for everything. He has a house, bills, and responsibilities that he won't be able to fulfil because he will be out of town preparing for surgery and then recovering from surgery. He will probably be out of work for a month! Oh I did not mention his insurance does not cover anything extra like that. Only the procedure. Lastly he has to have a lot of dental work done before he can have the surgery and his ins. does not cover
dental. He has to have the dental work done to protect his heart from infection. All of these financial burdens would take a toll on anyone but especially a young 27 year old. My little brother! If you feel led to donate to my brothers cause please know you will be greatly appreciated and a Blessing to him and our family! Our God is a mighty God and All things are possible through him! Just like he multiplied the fish I know he can multiply our dollars to help Justin focus on recovering and not worry about money, bills, and things not being paid! Thank you and May God Bless You for your kindness!!!
Matthew 25:40
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
