Help us stay by her side.

Robbin is currently in ICU at the cancer treatment center in Chicago. She is on a ventilator and medically sedated. It has been touch and go the last few days but she is still fighting. Today they woke her up for a short time so we could talk to her. Of course she was confused and scared; but hopefully she felt comforted by the 11 loved ones at her bedside. The goal here is to give her time and medications that will allow her to return home to her family and friends.
While we hope she heals quickly; this may become a long term process. As her family we are committed to being here for her. We don't ever want her to wake up alone. Unfortunately even taking turns, this is an expensive prospect. Most of us have unpaid time off, food and lodging, as well as travel expenses. As willing as we are to do this out of love for this special person, we would very much appreciate any help.
