*UPDATE*
Today, June 16th, Vladimir went back to his new ophthalmologist at Michigan State University to get back his test results. We just knew something was VERY wrong when he didn't show any signs of improvment over the past week, so we decided to pull out the big guns and take him to the renowned veterinary center at MSU. On Saturday they ran extensive tests to find the cause to his mysterious blindness/high blood pressure and why it couldn't be controlled with the mass amounts of medications he was on from his previous specialist. Today we got our answer.. cancer. Our sweet baby has Lymphoma. The oncologist at MSU is amazing, she already had a plan of action and was set to whisk Vlady off to his first round of chemo. He'll get treatments for the next 25 weeks and has a really good chance for recovery- he will even more than likely regain his vision. We are devastated, but thankful for an answer and a plan. Thank you to everyone for the support, im moved to tears every day by the kindness and generosity.

Vladimir, our sweet 2 year old Pittie, suddenly went blind on Friday, June 6th due to extremely high blood pressure caused by an unknown disorder. He showed no signs or symptoms prior to Friday and went blind over the course of one day. This has put him, his brother Ivan and us, in an extremely stressful and saddened state. We are asking for donations to help raise funds for his extensive continued medical care, and our best bet as of now is costly retina surgery to restore his sight. Thank you all for your continued love and support for Vlad during this time.
