<div>On Monday night, the dryer in the house I’ve been staying in with my niece and her family caught fire. We all got out safely, but the smoke spread through the entire house, making it uninhabitable for now. We don’t know when we’ll be able to move back in.

<div>For now, we’re staying in a hotel, but it’s getting expensive fast. Our town is a tourist area with Cedar Point nearby, and since the park just opened for the season, hotel prices are going up on weekends. This means we have to keep relocating to a nearby city just to find something affordable.

<div>I work from home, but my workspace was in the laundry room—the same area where the fire started—so I can’t work until we get back in the house. That means I can’t earn any income right now, and I can’t help my niece with the growing expenses.
