John’s Medical Fund

On August 7th, 2017, my dad was rushed to the hospital to find out he had an aortic intramural hematoma and needed major surgery to save his life. He was airlifted to the University of Michigan where he would undergo an 8 hour surgery followed by another 1 1/2 hour procedure shortly after. He was in ICU for over a week and then in a regular room for almost another week. He ended having to go back in September to have another procedure done too. We thought he would heal great and would just have to be monitored through out the years but in December we found out he has an aortic aerusym and will be going back in for two more surgeries on February 7th and 13th. The medical bills are piling up and both of my parents are feeling overwhelmed. My mom cannot work as much because she is caring for my dad. My mom didn’t want me to ask for help because she’s just like that’s but as her daughter and having to see them struggle a little bit kills me inside.
