<div>Hi, I'm Amelia Parsons. I'm a trans woman trying to raise money for bottom surgery. I started my transition in April of 2021, though I first came out as trans all the way back in 2014.  Now 10 years later and nearing 3 years of transition, I am READY to start pursuing bottom surgery. I won't lie, things have not been easy, and though they've gotten better, they've still been kind of hard. I am more comfortable in my body than ever except for one thing, one MAJOR thing: I need bottom surgery. It's not a want. Not an "oh that'd be nice" or a "maybe someday. It's a need. I am incredibly lucky to currently have insurance that should cover bottom surgery, though to what extent and what beyond the actual surgery and hospital stay I am not sure. And even if they cover every direct medical cost, it is still going to be a very expensive process. Bills and general life expenses, travel and boarding, food, missed work, etc.

<div>The goal I have set at the moment is the base of what I think I'll need help with in order to make this a reality. It might go up if things are on the more expensive side. And if things end up being cheaper and the goal is met, I may be able to put some of that towards making recovery and the entire process a little easier and less straining.
