Nadia Rowe

As most of you know, Matt and Amy Rowe unexpectedly welcomed their sweet Nadia on January 23, 2018— almost a month before her due date. Complications during her delivery, an infection Nadia faced immediately after her birth, and a low platelet count have contributed to their beautiful newborn spending the first twelve days (and an uncertain number more) of her life at Norton’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville. While their daughter is on the road to recovery, she has yet to make it home with her amazing parents. Hospital bills are already being received by Matt and Amy. The stress of transitioning a newborn to their home is only magnified by the financial burden of an extended hospital stay, countless specialists Nadia has seen thus far, and the extra special care she will need when they get to bring her home. I have seen how our community (and beyond) is capable of rallying behind families in their times of need, and I’m asking the same of you for the Rowe’s in an attempt to alleviate some worry, allowing them to focus Nadia’s health. If financially you’re not able to contribute, please continue to offer your well wishes and prayers of strength for these first-time parents and their daughter.
