my sister was driving in Stone Mountain, Georgia when her vehicle was struck by a young male driver. The driver was left unharmed while my sister sustained multiple injuries. Her arm was broken in two places. She had to go into emergency surgery as she had to get a plate and Rod put in her arm. She had a minor heart issue during surgery, but she came out of surgery successful (thank God!)
 Meanwhile this is all taking place just a couple weeks before my 15-year-old nephew is set to start 10th grade. He also has a 16th birthday approaching in October. On top of medical conditions and her current situation, now she’s stressed out because she can’t do anything special for my nephew for his 16th birthday. He tells her daily that hes ok, he just wants her to get better. He stayed in the hospital with her every night..❤️‍

 After two weeks of being in the hospital she is home now, but unable to work and the bills are piling up (rent , utilities, pain meds, & more), as she has to get Uber rides to the store and food deliveries when Family can’t make it. Which is becoming very expensive

 My sister is a go-getter, a single mom, and never ask for hand outs, so this is extremely difficult for her to have to sit back and watch others care for her & my nephew. She is fighting hard in this season of recovery; please join us in this journey and I will keep you posted on her progress.
