Sean's Kidney Donation

Hi friends,
Ever been at the point where you really want to do something spectacular for the people that raised you? Return the favor if you will? Well, my friend Sean Byfield is in the position to return the favor in a major way, as in give-his-mom-a-kidney BIG!
Many in our small community know Mike and Rita Byfield well. They spent years operating our favorite print shop and raising some of our favorite people! Rita also worked as a nurse at the local hospital, spending her time and energy helping those who needed it. Now she is the one in need of help. Born with only one kidney, she is in need of a transplant, which her son Sean wants to give her.
Of course such a monumental undertaking can come with some hiccups, more so because Sean lives in the UK with his wife while his mom lives in Oklahoma. Complicating matters even more, Sean's wife was in a traumatic car wreck not too long ago, and is still healing from serious injuries. As much as Sean would like to give his mom the life-altering gift of organ donation, he is facing some significant challenges.
The good news - Sean is in excellent physical, emotional, and spiritual health. He is ready to get this done! The bad news - getting where he needs to be is expensive and he is on the hook for all of the travel. Luckily the cost of accommodations is already taken care of, but it will take two separate visits to Oklahoma to complete the testing and subsequent surgery. The tickets are about $1000/round trip, so I’ve set the goal at $4000 as both Sean and his wife will be traveling.
Long story short, we'd like to get Sean stateside as quickly as possible, not only so he can start the process for live organ donation, but so that Rita can stop going to dialysis three times a week. She's spent her life offering her services as a nurse, a mother, and now a grandmother, and deserves this chance at a healthier, happier life.
