Danielle Lang & Dylan Crane

Please keep this a surprise! We would like to give the funds raised to Danielle on Saturday the 14th after Ben's memorial.

As some of you may know Danielle and Dylan lost their baby early this last saturday, the 7th. Even though it wasn't known at the time, Benjamin Crane was born into this world with a rare epileptic syndrome called Otaharas. The course of the Ohtahara syndrome is severely progressive. He eventually had continuous seizures almost all day every day. It affected his development both mentally and physically, leaving him without muscle control. The syndrome typically claims the lives of its victims in infancy. Ben's case was so severe that they said he should have died at 6 months. There were a few hospital visits that Danielle and Dylan were told that Ben would not survive, but he did. Ben was a fighter. All throughout this time, Danielle and Dylan were by his side 100% of the time. In the whole 10 months, they left their house 2 times for personal time. Because caring for Ben consisted of giving him shots and other duties only a parent would want to perform, Dylan and Danielle took shifts to do so. When one worked the other was with Ben.  However, as Ben's case began to progress it became hard to work with the frequent hospital and doctor visits. Danielle is so strong that she would never ask anyone for money nor make it easy for anyone to give. I set up this fund to help these two get back on their feet. They have told me of their plan to get away for a few weeks to grieve and just to get out of the house that has contained them for so long. They plan to road trip to a few places to see family and mainly, have time together. So let's help them do it. Matthew and I are going to start things out with $300 but please do not feel you have to donate that much!! Any little bit helps! You can donate anonymously or with your name and a message. Either way, thank you so much. Also please keep this a surprise!!
