On Thursday, June 5, Donald Fisher was in a horrific car accident which left him badly burned over 35% of his body. Thanks to his amazing survival instinct, he was able to escape from the vehicle through the passenger side while the car was engulfed in flames.
Don was transported to the burn unit at Eskenazki Hospital, where he will remain for the next couple months. It is clear that Don has a long road to recovery ahead - multiple surgeries, skin grafts and finally physical therapy.
Anyone lucky enough to know Don, Cathy and their son Burton knows that they would never ask for financial help. However, many people have expressed a need to do something for this incredibly loving, selfless family.
The funds raised via this page will go toward whatever the family needs in the next few days, weeks, months to keep them comfortable while Don is recovering - hospital parking, food, gas, medical and living expenses, replacing items lost in the fire, etc.
Please know that every donation large or small will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to Cathy and Burton to make this difficult time a little bit more managable.

Good morning everyone.
This morning at 6:30 I picked up a call from Eskenazi hospital. Earlier this morning my dad passed away. My mom and I are still processing everything so please be patient with us. Thank you all for everything you have done. The support and well wishes really mean a lot to us.
