Esteban's Medical Fund

Esteban, a rider with Capital Velo Club (CVC) was out for a short training ride on the morning of July 12, 2017-  A bright, beautifuly sunny day, of which every cyclist dreams of having for a ride.  The ride nearly turned deadly, becuase Esteban was unfortunately hit from behind by a car, unconcious and clinging to life he was transported to Yale New Haven Hosiptal with life threatning injuries, which included 13 broke ribs, some of which punctured one of his lungs, 2 broken shoulders, broken thibula, fractured vertebre, and a host of bruises.
Esteban would need to be treated for the most severe injury to his punctured lung, prior to being able to be operated on his right shoulder, which had a displaced bone break.  Amazingly, Esteban was alive, and all of his family and friends are truly grateful for this miracle.  For anyone that knows Esteban, he's a fighter, and a truly amazing man. 

Esteban's cycling team, and friends, are trying to raise money to help Esteban get through some tough months ahead, he is currently unable to work and we are wanting to help in anyway that we can.  Please feel free to help however you can and share this page with friends.
