Non-FDA Approved Procedure

Donation protected
Hello Friends and Family,
It is BEYOND difficult for me to ask for help... for anything... but I've come to the conclusion that I might need a bit of assistance to pay for a procedure I need in the next three weeks.

Many of you may not know, but I have had a condition called Keratoconus since college, and it got so bad that I had corneal transplants in 2002 and 2005. The condition has come back, and now I need a procedure called Conductive Keratoplasty and Corneal Cross Linking, which is not FDA Approved. You may have heard about this procedure during the 2014 Winter Olympics when they did a story on Olympian Steven Holcomb, and his battle with Keratoconus.

Additional transplants may not be an option for me now, and without this "corneal freezing" procedure, my corenas will simply continue to weaken, become steeper and eventually cause me to go legally blind. Glasses are not an option, and hard contacts will only last so long before they are too painful to wear.

I desperately need this procedure before my corenas are beyond help. Even a tiny donation will help me pay for this treatment.
