Christy's cancer surgery fund

Little about me, I'm a wife and mommy of two teenage boys.  I gave up working when my kids were born so I could be home with them. Life has been an adventure for sure!! :)

I was diagnosed with MS in 2007... I hid it from friends and sometimes family for as long as I could... Through that continuing battle, I learned 'circling the wagons' was not always best for my family and me. It takes me well out of my comfort zone to ask for help, It's just not how I'm wired. 

Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with a melanoma.  One year ago my husband lost his job ( he's looking like crazy and doesn't get unemployment).  When he lost his job we lost our insurance. About the same time he lost his job, I got a spot on my back.  The spot grew into a thing.  The thing grew into a blob and the blob grew into cancer. The tumor was removed.

Two doctors have suggested additonal surgery to remove more tissue and lumph nodes as well as a nuclear study so we can see if the cancer has spread. 

I want to be here for all of my boy's milestones! Graduations, weddings, babies, jobs.... 

If you find it in your heart to fund my surgery, the money WILL go to my hospital and doctors bills. Help me see my kids become men.
