Emily in Brazil

In October 2018 I had a remarkable experience during a Sunday morning service at my Church in Sussex. I knew that God was calling me to return to Brazil (I had volunteered for 6 months in Sao Paulo with BMS World Mission in 2001) in the weeks to follow this call to go back was confirmed in amazing ways. On 7th August I have a flight booked from London Heathrow to Sao Paulo! Initially, I'm going for 6 months to volunteer for two projects that help those living in extreme poverty. The money I need to raise will cover my flights, insurance, vaccinations, accommodation and food until January 2020! I will be selling a lot of my possessions to fund my trip and i'm really not asking for you as an individual to give vast sums of cash but if a lot of people give a little then I will be financially equipped to follow Gods call for the next few months, serving some of Sao Paulo's most vulnerable families.
