Bring My Grandson Roman Home
*Need help to bring my grandson home.* Three years ago, my grandson prepared for a trip with his mother to visit her relatives in Belarus. He had taken trips with his mother just like this many times before, but when she left with him in July of 2015, she never returned with him. He was six years old, he said to me on the day that he left, "Don't be sad, I'll be home in 120 days." Little did we know as we said our goodbyes that he would not return home.
He was born and grew up here, in the US, and was raised by both of his parents. Though his parents would eventually separate, He maintained a healthy relationship with each parent and spent time with them equally. When he departed for this final trip, his father (my son) trusted that he would return as promised.
My son has now been fighting tirelessly since then to bring his son home; hiring a lawyer here in the US to represent him, and spending all of his savings over the past two years going to court, only to be informed by a judge that it is out of their jurisdiction. Recently informed that he needs to go to the UK, where he and his mother now live, and retain a lawyer and fight this there, as well as needing to retain a lawyer here in the US, my son does not have the financial means to fight to bring him home.
We are in need of help to raise money to pay for a lawyers fees here and in the UK for my son. If you can find it in your hearts to help, any amount would be a blessing and greatly appreciated. Our family misses him more than we can describe, and are trying everything and anything we can to help bring him home. He is now already nine years old, and we do not want to miss one more moment of his life than we already have. Thank you so much for your help.
