</div>
<div>In the year 2021 my father Lindor Gabriel Barahona (71) is diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. After many efforts, my family got the funds to operate the left eye, which was successful.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Two years have passed since the operation and my father is progressively losing sight in his right eye.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The political, economic and social situation in Venezuela is chaotic. According to UN reports, more than seven million people have fled the country in search of a better quality of life. In the last three months, the national currency has lost 60 percent of its purchasing power, while the minimum wage remains the lowest in the region ($30) and there are shortages in hospitals, power lines, and drinking water.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That is why we open this campaign to collect the necessary funds for its operation as indicated in this budget.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Por Maria Barahona
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
