Help Answer Ward Family's Prayers

Family is facing homelessness but has an opportunity to serve others. Help the Ward's get to Washington!

Please help my good friend and his family. Everything happens for a reason and God has huge plans for them! This family has already lost so much but wants to give back! Please be a part of something that would be life changing not only for them but for so many others.

This couple lost all of their family three years ago when they left the Jehovah's Witnesses and came to a relationship with Christ. For those who are unaware of the religion, leaving the cult creates lasting damage that can take years to heal from. Not only was the loss of their family incredibly painful for them, the damage on their boys was devastating, and their oldest son took the hardest toll. He is now diagnosed PTSD from the circumstances surrounding the loss of his family and has required extensive therapy.

However, they've continued to stay positive and say that the decision to leave and come to a faith in Jesus was well worth the sacrifice. They've experienced the life changing reality that a relationship with Him brings.

But then 9 months ago Daniel was laid off, with no severance or unemployment. Because of their sons special needs, Daniel is the sole breadwinner. He has been applying for work everywhere for months and has had a lot of interviews but hasn't gotten a job yet. They were informed three weeks ago, that on April 1st they would be evicted.

Through everything they have kept positive and have been looking for what God wants them to do next. They feel that not finding work in AZ is God's way of telling them that their time in AZ is done and bigger things are waiting for them.Daniel and Sheridan have said that since becoming Christians that they want to more fully be involved in helping others in the community to also find a family with Christ and the church. They really just want to give back after so much has been given to them. In the midst of this, an opportunity opened up and I have asked them to be part of a special ministry in Washington. With their previous life experience, they will be wonderful in reaching out to these people with practical help as well as how the gospel can change the lives of these men and women.

After much prayer, they have decided that this is what they are supposed to do. They have decided to make the move to Washington to become fully involved in this important ministry.

We need some help to get them up here, we are a new ministry and our budget is small. They have a lot of amazing work to do here and God is telling all of us that this is where they need to be!
Because Daniel has been out of work for the past 9 months, they need help with a moving truck, gas, and food for trip. They are simplifying and condensing their stuff but even a small truck is expensive and their car is not in good enough condition to make the trip (they plan on towing it behind the truck)Several other prayers have been answered on a daily basis recently, but this is the only thing keeping them from getting up here! They have a place to live once they get here, but just need some help getting here. They have so much on their plate right now, I want to take one HUGE thing off of it.

We don't have much time! They MUST be out of their home by this coming Saturday! They are packing and we want them up here as soon as they can! They've made the decision to trust God and pursue this ministry. So could we help them and be an answer to their prayers? I realize everyone is hurting financially now, so if you can't help don't worry! But if you can chip in a little, it would mean so much to everyone! No donation is too big or too small!

If you cannot help financially, would you consider sharing this on your own Facebook and/or Twitter? Would you post it in your own groups that you're a part of?

This isn't just giving some help to a family who needs it. This will help them to serve others, and grow our ministry up here. Getting them to Washington will be life changing to not only them, but hundreds or thousands of other people. Could we all work together and bless this family in their desire to serve others?
